After Hours Care

If you require a medical care home visit after hours, our practice is registered with the Sydney Medical Co-operative Service, who are available 8724 6300. Please inform them you are a patient of our practice.

  • Fairfield Central Medical Centre Bulk Bills most eligible services on weekdays.
  • Saturday: Mixed billing, there will be an out of pocket fee of $30 for patients with a valid Medicare Card on Saturdays, Pension/Concession/DVA Card Holders and Children under 16 years old will be bulk billed.
  • Patients without a current Medicare card are requested to pay at time of consultation. Information on the current private fees charged is available at reception.
  • Medical consultations and Medical reports concerning established Workers Compensation and Third Party claims will be charged in accordance with the AMA Fee List.
  • Please check with your GP regarding any out-of-pocket expenses incurred for specialist referrals, X-rays, etc.

Cancellation Policy

Fairfield Central Medical Centre is a very busy practice and our appointments are always in high demand.

Our Cancellation Policy is intended to ensure fairness to both patients who are waiting for appointments as well as our doctors who are working very hard to meet the high demand of their services.

Your appointment time is reserved for you, and we understand that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to attend your appointment.

Under this cancellation policy, our doctors appreciate your co-operation as below:


  • Patient is required to give a minimum of 2 hour notification for cancellation or changes to appointment times.
  • Patients will be charged a non-attendance fee if did not attend or cancel their appointment within 2 hours of their scheduled appointment time.
  • The non-attendance fee would be $30.
  • Please note that no subsequent appointments will be booked until the non-attendance fee is settled.

Covid Policy

Patients with Flu like symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, running nose are required to wear a face mask in the practice.
